Welcome to the 2012 season. Please read the following information before registering. There are no changes in fees for this year.

*** NOTICE- Parents of children born in 2006 and those wanting their children in Junior Rookie, please select the Pay by Cheque option when registering. These age groups are almost full and we will advise you within 24 hours if there is space so you can proceed with payment.
*** NOTICE – Coaches are badly needed in some divisions. If your child was born in 1999, 2000, 2001, or 2002 please
volunteer your service as a coach. Expertise is not necessary. Our Jr. and Sr. Rookie teams (2003,2004) have head coaches in place
but need a few more assistants.
Our House League season begins on Saturday, May 5th when all players come
to Bond Park to meet
their coaches and pick up their uniforms. The time for each age group to come will be e-mailed to you in late April. The first games
begin the following week(May 7th, 8th,9th.) For T-ball, Rookie and Mosquito, all games start at 6:30 p.m. T-ball games are over shortly
after 7:30 while Rookie and Mosquito games are over between 8 and 8:30p.m. In the Peewee and Bantam divisions games start at both
6:30 and 8:30p.m. To play your child will require a glove, and running shoes are sufficient footwear. In fact, we do not allow metal
cleats in house League
If you register 2 children from the same family there is a discount of $20 so the total fee will be $260.($195
if one child is T-ball) If you have three or more children there are no additional fees. However, since the on-line system cannot
compute 3 or more children’s fees this we ask you to choose, “Pay by cheque” when registering on-line and mail the correct amount($260)
to us.
This year we cannot guarantee placement of your child on a team with more than 1 requested friend(sibling of the same
age not included)
If during the process you have concerns or questions please complete the registration and then e-mail us or
leave a phone message with us. (416-410-5723) Please note because of the volume of correspondence, e-mails will likely be answered
much more quickly. If there are conflicts for Rookie ball with either of the two nights, please follow the directions given in your
confirmation e-mail which will be sent after you have paid and been accepted.
When your registration has been accepted you will
receive an e-mail confirmation. If your child plans to try out for a select team please do not try to get your initial receipt as
your total amount paid eligible for the Fitness Tax Credit will be calculated after the season and you will be notified when it is
ready. These fees will not be tabulated before then. Select and pay only the $140 House League fee when registering. ** Select “NO”
for each Select team eligible payment in the last step. Notices about tryouts for Select teams will be posted on our website in late
March. Children who play Select baseball(on weekends), are only eligible to do so if they fulfill their commitment to play for their
house League team.
Again, please offer your help. The North York Baseball Association has no paid positions; all the work is
done by volunteers, and ensuring its success is a mammoth job. We can only accept registrations for spaces we have on teams and we
can only have as many teams as we have coaches.
