The T-ball series will run from early May 16 to August 23. Rookie to Bantam players will start May 16, 2022 with two practice weeks followed by a season start the week of May 30th that runs to the week of August 30th. The Championship Day for all teams will be held on Saturday, September 10th.

Outside of the first two weeks of May, there will be no practices during the season.

Every effort is made to keep the teams at the same skill level, which sometimes means team adjustments during the first two weeks of the season.

NOTE: If your child will miss more than 3 weeks due to other summer activities, please do not register them with NYBA. There are other leagues that stop play at the end of June.

As part of the registration fee, NYBA provides hats, pants and team jerseys - bats are part of the team's equipment. Players are required to have their own gloves. For the younger children we strongly recommend that parents not invest a lot of money in a beginner's glove.

Batting helmets were given out in 2021. Parents have the option of using last year's helmet or purchasing a new helmet. New players will need to purchase their own batting helmet, which can be purchased through NYBA during registration or from the NYBA preferred supplier Eagle Beaver Sports who offer a discount to all NYBA players.

NYBA offers a discount to families registering more than one player. During the registration process, ensure that the Multi-Child Discount line  is toggled in order to receive the discount.

NYBA REFUND POLICY: Any request for cancellation of registration prior to the season and before an age division is full will be honoured minus an administration fee ($10 for T-ball; $20 for other age divisions).
At the discretion of the North York Baseball registrar a refund will not be given in the following:
a) the season has started
b) an age division is full and any children on a wait list are no longer available to fill the vacancy.

North York Baseball Association is always looking for parent volunteers for coaching positions. Volunteering occurs during registration. We cannot run our program without enough coaches. Senior high school students are eligible to coach.

Registration for 2022 will open December 1st. Any families with unclaimed registration fees from the 2020 season, should reach out to the registrar Paul Chamberlain during registration.

The NYBA-HouseLeague-Code-of-Conduct outlines the conduct expected of players and their families on and off the field. Players and their families are encouraged to download and read it.

We look forward to having your family become part of the North York Baseball Association!

Play Ball!
