North York’s 9UAAA victory over Leaside 9U AAA Thursday, May 30 was nothing short of dramatic, as they bounced back from an 8-1 deficit to clinch a 14-13 walk-off win, handing Leaside their first loss of the season.

Despite a mixed start to the season, North York has demonstrated their ability to compete with AAA teams, securing victories over top competitors. Their emphasis on outfield defense proved fruitful against Leaside, with multiple assists from the outfielders.

Additionally, the team came close to achieving the first rookie ball home run of the year at bond park, with a powerful hit from their clean-up hitter narrowly missing the mark, bouncing off the top of the fence.

Congratulations to the players, coaching staff and parents@
