2025/26 NYBA ELITE TRYOUTS

The 2025/26 North York Baseball Elite program, will include four teams:

  • 15U ELITE - Coach Matthew Lethbridge
  • 16U ELITE - Coach Max Dieks (tryout schedule TBC)
  • 17U ELITE - Coach Dave MacPherson & Kenneth Pittman (tryout schedule TBC)
  • 18U ELITE - Coach Mike Tilson (tryout schedule TBC)

If you would like to be notified the tryout dates for the 16U, 17U and 18U Elite teams, please email Heather | heather@nyba.ca

Players and parents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the NYBA Elite program prior to trying out. 

  • Tryouts begin in July and may continue until mid-August. 
  • Elite tryouts are best suited for players who currently play at the Elite, AA, AAA or AAAA levels.
  • Players do not require a 'player release form' to attend an Elite tryout. 

There is a charge of $25 per player to tryout. Every player pays once and can attend any number of tryouts at any of the levels: elite (for those who qualify), rep or select. 

Funds collected through tryouts will be used in support of NYBA players and families requiring financial assistance. 

Payments are made through TeamSnap. Actual registration is completed via a specialized Team Google form asking for the player's baseball experience. Tryout registration is done when both parts are completed.

To register for an Elite Tryout: 

  • Pay the $25 tryout fee through the TeamSnap button below. 
  • TeamSnap will issue TWO emails.
    1. A receipt for payment.
    2. A separate email with the subject line: Important Information About Your Registration for North York Baseball Association, that includes the link re-directing players to the Elite Tryout registration page.
  • On the Elite Tryout registration page is a list of teams hosting tryouts, with links to their team tryout Google forms.   

Player registration is complete only when both steps are completed:

  • TeamSnap payment ($25)
  • Individual Team's Google Form submission.
