NYBA Baseball Skills Development Clinic
North York Baseball is running a baseball skills development clinic for beginner baseball players - those born in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
The objective is to help young players develop the necessary skills to have fun playing baseball. Ultimately, candidates will tryout and possibly play for our North York Blues 9U and under competitive teams in 2022.
Better baseball skills = More fun playing baseball.
The focus of the program is on the fundamentals:
- Hitting
- Throwing
- Catching
- Fielding and
- Running the bases.
Each session will include a real game, where players will learn and understand defensive positions and scoring runs.
Program director Benny Yan who is currently chief instructor of the NYBA 9u AAA and AA teams will be joined by instructors from the NYBA 16, 17, and 18u AAA and AA teams.
The program has been designed by Stephen Davis, 9u Director of Player Development for North York Baseball, for many years.
This clinic is open to non-NYBA players and will be held on Diamond 5, Bond Park, North York. See below for dates, cost and a link to register.
