Up against 8 other teams, the NYBA 11UAA Blues won the 11UAA Dave Dash Memorial Tournament this past weekend, July 26-27, in Brampton, ON.

The tournament was hosted by Brampton Minor Baseball, – which is just celebrating 75 years of baseball in the community.

“The boys have been working really hard for this result. We’ve been planting seeds, preaching ‘resilience’, ‘positivity’, and ‘perseverance’ and we saw that bear fruit this whole tournament.” – Fergus Navoa, Head Coach.

The entire NYBA community from the board to the fans extends a warm congratulations to all the players for the win.

And a salute to the coaches and parents who volunteered their time to make this happen. There would be no tournaments without you.
